[yyxso] Download Knitmap fonts from FontHaus

Knitmap
Designed by Christian Belanger, Knitmap is a display, display serif and pixel font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by FontHaus.

The design of the Knitmap font family was inspired by a logo stitched on the elastic band of a pair of shorts. This was at the time when Flash was very popular with its usage of bitmap fonts, especially Miniml’s fonts. Having that in mind, I saw the grid on which the logo was stitched on. So I decided to scan the logo and recreate the whole character set starting with the available letters (ā€œPā€, ā€œRā€, ā€œOā€, ā€œDā€, etc.). After that was done, I modified each letter in its grid to make it more of a custom job.

When I was first designing the font, it was called ā€œProdige 04, a grid based type experimentā€, because I wanted to do 4 weights (which I finally did). The font took me an additional year to complete.
